Expertise including but not limited to:
- Review of Clinical Systems in areas of nursing, activities, nutritional services, labor management and clinical information management.
- Evaluating clinical practice for compliance with professional, regulatory, and company standards
- Organizing- wide initiatives and program planning, developing clinical policies and procedures.
- Monitoring operational and clinical budgets and providing administrators and DON’s with recommendations to improve individual facility
revenue.
- Making recommendations for quality improvement. Plans that focus on optimal outcomes.
- Conducting annual state mock surveys, identifying risk factors, coordinating and implementing action plan to minimize liability and
risk.
- Collecting and reporting results of Federal and State Surveys and complaint investigations to identify trends and troubleshoot resolution
efforts and aggressively follow-up on repeat, consecutive deficiencies.
- Preparing written and verbal communication reports and providing recommendations to facility Administrator, Director of Nursing, Regional
Vice Presidents of Operations and/or Regional Vice President of Clinical Services.
- Educating and training Directors of Nursing on new CDC/state regulatory guidelines.
- Providing statistical data, analysis of tracking and trending of clinical findings along with strategic operational and clinical guidance
- Tracking and trending HPPD and labor management with recommendations to improve variance.
- Reviewing clinical records from Risk Management/ Clinical Compliance perspective for litigation purposes.
